Wave

About

Wednesday 11 - Saturday 14 February 2015

Inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Wave explores the relationship between a parent and their offspring as they reach adulthood and leave home. It is written for an audience of teenagers and adults with severe learning disabilities along with their companions.

Performed for small audiences in a purpose-built theatre, and featuring live music, singing and digital projection, this play offers a unique experience rich in action, colour, sound, touch and emotion.

A vibrant multi-sensory play for young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and autism. Wave is the follow up to White Peacock.

Director Natasha Holmes
Designer Sophia Lovell Smith

This production is suitable for teenagers and adults with profound learning disabilities, including autism. Tickets are priced at £6 or £8 to see the play twice.

Tickets are available to purchase by calling 0115 9419419
