Join Grant Watson, the co-curator of Bauhaus Imaginista, for the closing walkthrough of the season.
Bauhaus Imagnista is the centenary project of the Bauhaus made in collaboration the Goethe Institute and the House of World Cultures (HKW) in Berlin. Its primary focus has been to look at the international reception of the school and its legacy in particular in Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Using four Bauhaus objects as the starting point for conceptual and thematic chapters, of which Still Undead at Nottingham Contemporary is one, bauhaus imaginista has involved research and collaborations as well as exhibitions, conferences, workshops in different part of the world including in India, Japan, China, Russia, Morocco, Brazil, the Unites States and the United Kingdom.
During this walkthrough, Grant Watson will depart from previous chapters of bauhaus imaginista to contextualise Still Undead at Nottingham Contemporary.
