Wheee! International Children's Theatre and Dance Festival 2017

About

Monday 29 May - Sunday 4 June 2017

Lakeside's International Children's Theatre and Dance Festival has become a key event in the regional arts calendar eagerly anticipated by children, families, artists and promoters. Since the first International Festival in 2005 over 40,000 children and families have enjoyed performances by top companies from Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Québec and from across the UK.

Wheee! 2017 is Lakeside's thirteenth International Children's Theatre and Dance Festival.

As in previous years 2017 will include many performances by International Companies, such as Horse & Bamboo, Cas Public, M6 Theatre Company and of course the return of the Architects of Air luminarium!

In addition to afternoon, early evening and weekend performances, there will be a weekend of activities and performances in the beautiful surroundings of Highfields Park during the Family Weekend in the Park on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June.

For details of events taking place as part of Wheee! 2017 please see www.lakesidearts.org.uk
