Woodlark Wander

About

Sunday 28 April 2019 | 9.30am - 11.30am
Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre
Tickets: £7.50 (£6.00 for RSPB Members)

One of Sherwood Forest's earliest breeding birds, woodlark are heathland specialists with a big, melodious song.

Join Budby Site Manager, Chloe, to seek out these talented musicians before they settle down to breed for the season.

The walk will last approximately 2 hours, please wear layers and suitable footwear, and bring binoculars if you have them.

Unfortunately this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Due to the sensitivity of wildlife, we ask that you don't bring along dogs.

Please note:
This walk will take place at Budby South Forest, the meeting point is Budby car park on Swinecote road. Follow signs to Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre from the A616 and Budby is 100m after the junction on the right. No facilities are available on site.

Not suitable for under 8's.
Please book via EventBrite (www.visitsherwood.co.uk/events) or in the Visitor Centre. Please note, a booking fee applies via EventBrite.
