Discover the story of Nottinghamshire during the Great War and get hands on with history at the Great War Heritage Day at Rufford Abbey Country Park.
The event includes demonstrations, quizzes, competitions, storytelling and fascinating displays telling the story of life in Nottinghamshire during World War One. Trace World War One veterans with the help of genalogists and find out more about the contribution the county made to support the war effort. Local organisations that will be there on the day with displays, demonstrations and artefacts include:
