Hanwell Wine Estate
Sunday 24 May 2020 | 9.30am - 1.15pm
£50
Take some time for yourself and join us for a relaxing morning session of yoga, breathing meditation and nourish your body, mind and soul. All in the beautiful rural setting of Hanwell Wine Estate. Your expert teacher Selina will guide you through your session so when you have finished you will feel refreshed, relaxing and content.
The workshop will be broken down in the following aspects:
90 mins of Hatha yoga physical practice;
30 mins of breathing, meditation and mudra practice;
Weather permitting 30 mins mindful exploring and walks round the vineyard if not 30 mins for workshop sharing or journaling
Tasty vegetarian or vegan lunch with your fellow students.
The physical aspects of the workshop will be Hatha yoga focussing on the mind body connection using gentle movement with breathe control to calm the mind bringing you all into the moment…….rather than your 100 job ‘to do’ list.
The aim is to leave you feeling like a large weight has been lifted from your shoulders – experiencing total relaxation and bliss. This class is suitable for all levels and is low in intensity with the options being given for more advanced students to work on some of the more challenging poses.
It is rare in a yoga class to have sufficient time to explore breath work, pranayama or the details of ancient hand yoga, mudra. The workshop is designed to allow sufficient space and time for Selina to delve into some of the more restful and calming aspects of the full yoga experience. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions throughout the morning.
Who is it for – Everyone is welcome. Don’t worry you don’t need to be super flexible or able to touch your toes, all poses will be adapted for any level of practice from beginner to advanced and Selina can work with a variety of injuries or health concerns too.
What do I need – You will need to bring your own mat and wear comfortable clothing. If you do not have your own mat then let us know prior and we will be able to provide you with one. Dependant on weather a big coat and wellies may be needed if you wish to walk the grounds. Refreshment and vegan or vegetarian lunch is included.
Places are limited so book now. If you have any medical or health concerns we need to be aware of prior, please let us know by adding a note in the comments box at the time of booking.
