About

Yogalates Workshop
Saturday 18 May - 1.15-2pm
Tickets £6.60 inc booking fee

A great chance to join in a “hard as you want” exercise class in The Magnificent Spiegeltent.

East meets West. Yogalates fuses the ancient Indian practice of yoga with the western practice of Pilates. It combines the yoga focus on mind and body awareness – strength, stamina, flexibility and balance – with Pilates techniques to improve posture and create a strong, stable foundation for everyday movement.

Modifications and options will be given, so that you can perform each movement safely and with good form.

The class will be led by Steven Athwal, an experienced yoga teacher with a strong background in promoting the health benefits of exercise. He hosts regular classes in all the major health and fitness centres, including Virgin Active and David Lloyd, as well as supporting studios such as Hot Yoga Nottingham.

The class is suitable for all and mixed abilities are welcome.

Everyone is guaranteed an energising and mindful experience.

What to bring

Yoga mat, small towel and a bottle water

What to wear
