About

Launching autumn 2019 – now on sale!

The Nottingham Playhouse Young Company will make and explore theatre that focuses on the whole cast. There will be an ensemble approach with no 'leading cast members'. The ethos is playful, imaginative and experimental, guided by a skilled, energised and diverse team of practitioners.

Session days and times
Autumn Term dates: week commencing 16 September – week commencing 2 December. There is a two week half term for all groups the weeks commencing 21 & 28 October 2019.

Junior Young Company
Junior Young Company sessions are designed to develop creative play with lots of games, teamwork, skills building and loads of fun. We further explore using bodies and voices to learn how to tell stories and to turn them into exciting theatre. The emphasis is not on performance at this age but in allowing young people to develop their creativity and curiosity in a safe and fun environment.

Age: Years 4, 5, 6
Time: Saturdays 11.30 – 1pm
Cost: £70 for 10 weeks
