Britten St Nicolas
Nottingham Harmonic Choir very much look forward to performing Britten's mesmerising cantata St Nicolas, featuring the amazing tenor soloist Christopher Turner and choristers from Southwell Minster.
Expect storms, murder, resurrections, and other miracles in this wonderful story, which is by turns both terrifying and comic. There is even an opportunity for audience participation! The rest of the concert features a favourite by Elgar, a rarely performed gem by Vaughan Williams, and haunting music by Arvo Pärt and Max Richter. This is one not to miss!
