Taking place 8–9 August 2026 at the historic Thoresby Park, Gloworm is a family festival where imagination can run wild and unforgettable memories are made. Designed especially with families in mind, the festival brings to life a vibrant world of live shows, themed zones and hands-on experiences – with more than 100 activities, workshops and stage shows all included in the ticket price with no hidden extras.

The line-up includes children’s television stars Maddie Moate and Nick Cope, favourite characters such as Spongebob Squarepants and Mr Blobby, CBeebies Bedtime Stories plus loads of family focused live music and entertainment.

Families can explore immersive adventure zones filled with high-energy challenges, creative workshops, outdoor play and sensory experiences. More about the Old Chapel Apartments

Set in the heart of Sherwood Forest, The Old Chapel Apartments offer a unique stay within a beautifully restored 1848 Methodist Chapel in the charming village of Edwinstowe. These two luxury, mezzanine-style apartments combine historic character with modern design, featuring striking high ceilings, exposed brickwork, and large arched windows.

Each apartment sleeps up to four guests and includes two en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a stylish open-plan living space. Located on the vibrant village high street, with The Miners just below, guests can enjoy the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and local charm, ideal for a relaxing countryside escape.

Terms & Conditions

• You must be over 18 years of age to enter the competition.
• The competition is for a family of (up to) four and must include one adult (over the age of 18) and at least one child (under the age of 18). 
• Valid entries via this webpage and form submission only. Entries on social media will not be valid or included in the prize draw.
• This competition runs from Monday 11th May 2026 to midnight on Monday 8th June 2026.
• Please note that no dogs are allowed at Gloworm festival.
• The winner will be contacted on or after Tuesday 9th June 2026. The winner will be contacted directly via email or telephone by Visit Nottinghamshire. 
• Prize must be claimed within 48 hours of being contacted, or will be deemed unclaimed. An unclaimed prize will be returned to the competition organiser, and another winner will be drawn.
• One entry per person.
• You must be able to take the prize over the weekend of 8th & 9th August 2026.
• The winner will be chosen at random.
• The winners contact details will be shared with Gloworm Festival and Old Chapel Apartments to arrange receipt of the prize as the involved venues will require access to these contact details to confirm further arrangements.
• The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, no cash alternatives will be provided.
