As a destination we are working closely with the national tourist board, VisitEngland to help us understand the diverse needs of those with access needs especially when making travel arrangements. This has enabled a select few venues in Nottingham to undergo an ‘accessible reinvention’ which has resulted in improved accessibility at some of the best attractions, eateries and hotels in the city.
Each of the venues have been formally assessed and subsequently taken action to improve their offer.
