Three lakes are open for fishing at Welbeck, Great Lake, Carburton Forge Dam and Carburton Dam, offering members up to 77 acres of fishing. The lakes and areas surrounding them have been designated as Sites of Specific Scientific Interest by Natural England and offer spectacular views of Welbeck Abbey across the Great lake.
Single rod permit £85, double rod permit £110, junior rod permit £35. Club members are required to hold a valid NRA rod licence.

Cromwell is a fantastic 18 Acre Sprint fed specimen lake set in beautiful surrounds containing;
40lb+ Mirror Carp, 35lb+ Common Carp, 30lb+ Ghost Carp, 20lb+ Grass Carp, 30lb+ Pike, 25lb+ Wells Catfish, 10lb+ Channel Catfish, plus lots of double figure Tench with a lake record of 14lb 06ozCromwell lake carp fisher also has a small pleasure pond containing a large selection of fish including, Roach, Rudd, Ide, Crucians, Still Water Barbel, Perch, Golden Orfe, Tench and the following Carp Mirror/Common/Ghost/Koi.

Colwick Country Park offers both trout and coarse fishing from its two well stocked lakes. The 65 acre main Lake boasts both rainbow and brown trout and fishing is available from boats (available for hire) or the bank. The Colwick trout season runs from March to October each year, with a range of ticket offers available including season, 7-day, day, 4-hour and sporting.
The 24 acre West Lake is stocked with carp including some recently moved to the lake that weighed up to 36lb! This lake is also used for canoeing and sailing by the Adventure Centre. The Colwick coarse season runs throughout the year with a range of ticket offers available including season, day and weekend.

If you enjoy a good catch then Smeaton's Lakes is the place for you. With several finger ponds, carp and coarse lakes, and a good stretch of the River Trent, there is something for every coarse fisherman. All the pegs are easily accessible and some can be reached by car, enabling those with physical impairments to enjoy their fishing. This picturesque fishery is one of the regions oldest established coarse fishing waters. With 3 lakes set in more than 11 acres Sapphire can cater for all anglers, from the carp angler looking for that personal best to the match and pleasure fisherman hoping for that huge net full at the end of the days session, Sapphire Lakes won't disappoint!!

A 4 pond venue; 1 pond is for beginners, 1 is for specimen Carp anglers ,1 has Bream, Roach, Tench, Perch, Carp, Rudd and finally the biggest lake holds, Bream, Carp, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch. All of these go to good weights and there is also the infamous catfish which is said to be around 75lb lurking at the bottom. Acclaimed as one of the UK’s leading coarse fisheries, Hallcroft offers everything the pleasure and match angler could need. Offering a total of 6 lakes and a small stretch of the River Idle (400 pegs). Facilities include a 100 seater cafeteria with licensed bar, which serves breakfasts, snacks and after match food, toilets, shower block for those anglers staying overnight, parking, on-site tackle shop. Also for disabled anglers there is the ability to park behind nearly every peg on the venue.

An easily accessible coarse fishery set in idyllic countryside in the Vale of Belvoir. Having three lakes, it provides for match fishing, pleasure fishing and coaching, whilst also having five caravan pitches available. The complex extends over 10 acres, with a further 28 acres adjacent earmarked for future developments. The Fishery also has two qualified angling coaches available for 'one off' or 'multi sessions', covering all levels of angling. Sessions are tailor made to suit and can be for an individual or for a group session.
Species within the different lakes include; Carp to 28lb, Tench, Barbel, Chub, Roach, Rudd, Crucians, Ide, Golden Orfe, Blue Orfe , skimmer bream.
