Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards

Organised by Visit Nottinghamshire, the Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards 2026, formerly known as the STARS Awards, is a prestigious celebration of excellence across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire's tourism, leisure, culture, and hospitality sectors.

These awards highlight best practice and shine a spotlight on the people and businesses making outstanding contributions to the region’s vibrant visitor economy. From charming B&Bs and standout attractions to city hotels, event venues, and creative experiences, the wide range of categories reflects the diversity and strength of Nottinghamshire’s tourism landscape.

Winning or being shortlisted offers businesses a platform for wider recognition, increased visibility, and acts as an inspiration to the thousands working within the local tourism sector to strive for excellence.

There are 14 core categories, many of which feed directly into the national VisitEngland Awards. New for 2026, the “Taste of Nottinghamshire” category has been split to separately recognise Restaurant and Casual Dining venues, offering more opportunities to celebrate the diversity of the local food and drink scene.

In addition, four regional categories will spotlight Nottinghamshire’s homegrown talent and community-focused venues, with some awards set to include a public voting stage to engage local audiences.

2026 Annual Tourism Awards Celebration Dinner

The Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards 2026 will culminate in a joint celebration with Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, as the region’s two Local Visitor Economy Partnerships (LVEPs) once again come together for a shared awards ceremony.

The event will take place on 18 March 2026 at Derby County Football Club, Pride Park Stadium, from 6.30pm to 11pm GMT.

Join us for an evening honouring the gold, silver, and bronze winners across 17 categories per LVEP, ranging from accommodation providers and visitor attractions to pubs, unique experiences, and the passionate individuals behind the businesses.

Held in partnership with VisitEngland, all Gold winners will have the prestigious opportunity to progress to the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, representing the highest accolades in English tourism.

The evening begins with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner before the celebrations begin and the winners are announced. Dress code: smart/partywear.

Shortlisted finalist businesses can claim two complimentary tickets for the ceremony
Tables seat 10 or 12 guests. Additional tickets are £80.00 + VAT per person, invoiced by East Midlands Chamber following booking.
