Applications for the Visit East Midlands Tourism Awards – Nottinghamshire 2026/2027 are now open.

Organised by Visit Nottinghamshire and formerly known as the Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards, the awards have evolved as part of an exciting new regional initiative celebrating the very best of tourism, hospitality and visitor experiences across the East Midlands.

While the awards now sit under the wider Visit East Midlands Tourism Awards umbrella, the Nottinghamshire awards continue to operate as a dedicated destination programme, recognising outstanding businesses, attractions, venues, experiences and individuals from across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

The awards are delivered by Visit Nottinghamshire, the area's accredited Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), in partnership with Visit Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby and East Midlands Combined County Authority, creating a stronger regional platform while maintaining local recognition and celebration.

The awards highlight best practice and shine a spotlight on the people and businesses making outstanding contributions to the region’s vibrant visitor economy. From charming B&Bs and standout attractions to city hotels, event venues, and creative experiences, the wide range of categories reflects the diversity and strength of Nottinghamshire’s tourism landscape.

Winning or being shortlisted offers businesses a platform for wider recognition, increased visibility, and acts as an inspiration to the thousands working within the local tourism sector to strive for excellence.

There are 14 core categories, first 12 of which feed directly into the national VisitEngland Awards.
