Looking for something fun, social, and active in Nottingham? You’ve just found it.
Try Tag Rugby is a friendly mixed, non-tackling sport that’s easy to pick up, great for meeting new people, and often becomes the social highlight of the week.
Whether you’re brand new to rugby or haven’t played sport in a while, you’ll fit right in. No experience needed, just come along for a fun and welcoming way to stay active and meet new people.
They run mixed (all genders) social Tag Rugby Leagues, Events, and Taster Sessions in Nottingham throughout the year. It’s all about having fun, making friends, and enjoying a run around – followed by a drink and a chat at our partner pub (yes, every week!).
Why not come along and give it a go at one of our Free Taster Sessions? There’s no pressure, it’s just a fun introduction where you will be talked through everything.
If you can’t make a taster, no worries - you can sign up for a league or event, and they will show you how to play before your first game. It’s easy to pick up, and you’ll be part of the group in no time.
Join over 11,000 people who played Tag Rugby weekly across the UK last summer.
Accessibility Information
Try Tag Rugby Nottingham is an inclusive, non-contact sport created to be welcoming, social and accessible to individuals with a wide range of fitness levels and sporting experience.
Sessions involve running, passing and catching a rugby ball, as well as removing tags worn on a belt to stop play. While the sport is non-contact and suitable for beginners, it requires a basic level of mobility, coordination and the ability to take part in these core activities.
Players with mild to moderate disabilities are welcomed, and reasonable adjustments are made wherever possible. However, due to the nature of the sport, certain physical requirements may make participation more challenging.
Anyone with accessibility needs or questions about whether Try Tag Rugby is suitable is encouraged to get in touch in advance. The team is always happy to discuss individual circumstances and explore ways to support involvement.
