Great ready for a fantastic summer day at Chilwell Fun Day. Fun Days are free to attend for all and are a firm favourite among Broxtowe residents. Hosting a variety of free activities for kids during the school holidays throughout the year, our Fun Day events offer a fantastic low-cost family day out.

Kids of all ages can enjoy an array of activities including puppet shows, giant bubble shows, drumming, circus skills, cool science, and creative arts workshops, KMX Go karting fun, inflatables, fairground rides and so much more. There is something for everyone.

Treat yourself to tasty delights from various stalls with food, sweets, and ice cream to satisfy your taste buds. Don’t miss out the karate demonstration by GRK Karate after the Opening Ceremony at 1pm!

And fear not about the parking, for free public parking is available on site to ensure your journey to joy is hassle-free. Residents are also encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport to our events.

This event is run by Broxtowe Borough Council. Another Fun Day will also be taking place in Eastwood (6 Aug 2026).
