Win Tickets to Torvill & Dean's Dancing on Ice!
When Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean won gold with their performance of Ravel’s Bolero at the 1984 Winter Olympics they immediately won the hearts of the country, becoming national heroes and inspiring generations to get their skates on.
In their home county of Nottinghamshire, they are true local icons, with various spots in the area named after them, including Bolero Square, the courtyard at the National Ice Centre which commemorates their famous routine.
Fast forward over 30 years and this graceful artform - and its champions – are back and just as treasured. As well as appearing as mentors on ITV’s Dancing on Ice for 9 years (this year returning as Head Judges), the duo have presented the fantastic Torvill & Dean’s Dancing on Ice Tour each year since 2012, showcasing the thrills of live skating throughout the country.
