Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Wo hu cang long) 2000 | 12 | 2 h | Dir. Ang Lee

A young woman in 19th-century China longs for an adventurous life rather than a dull arranged marriage in Ang Lee's Oscar-winning martial arts epic. This movie has become an inspiration for Hetain Patel's latest film Trinity.

A legendary warrior's stolen magic sword becomes the centrepiece of epic, intertwining love stories, set against the breath-taking landscapes of ancient China. 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' combines innovative martial-arts action with a touching love story. This movie has become an inspiration for Hetain Patel's latest film Trinity.

Shown in Mandarin with English subtitles.
