Nottinghamshire has loads of fantastic cycle trails, making it a great place to visit for cyclists of all abilities.
Whether you prefer mountain biking and off-roading, gentle country lane exploration, or bike tours covering unexpected spots, hidden gems, and the best routes for all abilities, we have it all. For a bit of off-road cycling, Sherwood Forest is an ideal destination. You can easily get around this vast and beautiful area with no roads to worry about and the many bridleways and cycle paths make the forest well connected.
The Ancient Sherwood Route and the Adventure Pine Route are both approximately 20 miles long, the route is designed to take a day when incorporated with planned stop offs for refreshments, activities and enjoying the attractions. There are three road crossing points en-route and a further two within Clumber Park.
If you're a road cycling fan, Nottinghamshire’s many winding country lanes, and quaint villages and towns have a great network of roads connecting them all together, meaning you’re never far away from the next great attraction or beauty spot to admire.
