Walking Tours in Nottingham

About

Participants can join a local guide from Walking Tours in Nottingham daily at 10:30am (& 2pm May-Oct) for an engaging introduction to the city's history and culture. Private tours are also available for booking through the website, or via the link below:

Participants will immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the city, traveling back through the centuries to explore Nottingham's turbulent history and how it has shaped the vibrant city of today. The tour covers the early Anglosaxon tribes that settled in Nottingham, the oldest surviving parts of the city, and today's bustling market streets and churches. It also explores the impact of the industrial revolution on Nottingham's place in England and how locals live today.

Highlights include walking in the footsteps of Robin Hood, the city's "first black entrepreneur", and body snatchers, as well as walking above an ancient cave system. The tour reveals many secrets of Nottingham's famed streets with the guidance of a local expert.

The tour includes visits to:
- Old Market Square
- Victoria Street
- The Lace Market
- St Mary's Church
- Robin Hood Statue
- Nottingham Castle
- And many hidden treasures!

This family-friendly tour is priced at £12 + small booking fee (adults) | £8 + small booking fee (7-15 years old) and lasts for approximately 1.5 hours.
