Nottingham Arts Theatre
Tickets: £15/£17
Award-nominated comedian Jess Fostekew brings her latest show Iconic Breath to Nottingham Arts Theatre - a comedic deep dive into the chaos of emotional self-management in increasingly absurd times.
What begins as a quest for tolerance and temperance quickly unravels into a surreal journey through DNA, social mishaps, personal reckonings, and dolphin epiphanies. With razor-sharp wit and unruly charm, Fostekew explores what it means to 'cope' in a world that demands saint-like grace from those hanging on by a thread.
Expect a masterclass in silliness for the scariest of days, crafted by a performer hailed for her smart, bold and unflinching approach to stand-up.
Fostekew is known for her appearances on BBC's QI, Live at the Apollo, Celebrity University Challenge, and Richard Osman's House of Games, as well as Channel 4's Travel Man and World's Most Dangerous Roads on Dave. Her BBC Radio 4 series Sturdy Girl Club and acclaimed podcasts The Guilty Feminist and Hoovering have earned her a dedicated following - and her hit fan podcast Contender Ready, co-hosted with Olympic weightlifting champion Emily Campbell, continues to captivate audiences.
