Nottingham's own Fluent in Both, meet Edinburgh's Loud poets in a special night celebrating the breadth and depth of poetry.

Enjoy the depth and breadth of poetry with this collaboration like no other, celebrating everything that falls under the umbrella of poetry and spoken word. Local legends with an international flair meet national names that will expand your horizons. This collaborations shows just what poets can do when they work together.

Fluent in Both is a cult sellout night in Nottingham for creatives from all over the world, Enjoy poetry and music from Poets who speak English as a second language as the performers celebrate diversity, cultural exchange, and creativity. To them, language is a bridge that connects different cultures and perspectives. Join them in breaking down stereotypes and prejudices, and create a space for intercultural dialogue and understanding.

For over a decade, Edinburgh based Loud Poets have been showcasing the very best of spoken word in the country. Now the core Loud Poets Katie Ailes, Mark Gallie, and Kevin Mclean, are showing what they can do! With musical accompaniment from Jack Hinks, they combine original spoken word, live music, visuals, to rethink what poetry can be and do. Expect a fist-thumping, pint-drinking, side-tickling, heart-wrenching spectacle that will thrill poetry lovers and turn sceptics into fans.
