The Festival at a Glance 15th – 29th June

Saturday 15th 11am – 12pm at The Bookcase Events Space  –  MAGIC SCIENCE – for ages 5 -13. Tickets £8 (accompanying adult free)

Monday 17th 2pm – 3.30pm at Epperstone Village Hall  –  AMANDA CRAIG  – The Three Graces – a reading group event. Tickets £18 full, £16 concession, £15 Bookcase Friend (includes book and refreshments)

Thursday 20th 2pm – 3.30pm at The Bookcase Events Space  –  PAULINE PRIOR PITT – an Afternoon of Poetry. Tickets £10 full, £8 concession, £7 Bookcase Friend (includes refreshments)  SOLD OUT

Friday 21st 2pm – 3pm at The Bookcase Events Space  –   KAREN SWANN – The Tale of the Whale – for 2 – 5 year olds. Tickets £5 (accompanying adult free)

Friday 21st  2.30pm – 4pm at St. Mary’s Church, Lowdham  –   ALAN JOHNSON – for Spy Thriller Fans! Tickets £12 full, £11 concession, £10 Bookcase Friends


Saturday 22nd 10am - onwards at Lowdham Village Hall  (with licensed cafe) 

NATURE THEMED DAY:

10am – 10.45am  Rebecca Batterbury – illustrator (including in Be A Birder by Hamza Yassin). Tickets £7 full, £6 concession, £5 Bookcase Friend

11.30pm – 12.30pm Simon Curtin – about the Belvoir Osprey project. Tickets £7 full, £6 concession, £5 Bookcase Friend

1.30pm – 2.30pm  Jack Perks – wildlife photographer. Tickets £7 full, £6 concession, £5 Bookcase Friend

3.30 – 6pm  Jane Wyles and Fiona Theokritoff  at Bumbles, Epperstone  – Summer Poems in the Wild Garden. Tickets £15


Sunday 23rd 11am - onwards at Lowdham Village Hall (with licensed cafe)

CRIME THEMED DAY: a fantastic line up of crime writers with panel sessions, author interviews and a workshop

11am – 12.30pm  Chris Ewan and  Ajay Chowdhury – Murder Men. Tickets £10 full, £9 concession, £8 Bookcase Friend

2pm – 3.15pm Kate Rhodes with  Lesley Kara,  Penny Hancock,  Lisa Cutts,  Eleni Kyriacou – Killer Women. Tickets £10 full, £9 concession, £8 Bookcase Friend

4pm – 5.30pm  WORKSHOP with Kate Rhodes. Tickets £12 (includes a paperback copy of any of Kate’s books on the bookstall)

7pm – 8.30pm  James Naughtie. Tickets £12 full, £11 concession, £10 Bookcase Friend
