Raising Lazarus By Kat Francois

About

30th May 2014 at 8pm

A one woman play which charts the experience of West Indian soldiers who came to fight for Britain in World War I. This is a powerful personal piece as Kat traces the history of Lazarus Francois, her grandafther’s first cousin. She tries to discover and tell his story, finding out who he was, what happened to him and defining his legacy. Kat Francois is a performer and entertainer whose CV covers everything from playwriting and acting to poetry and stand up comedy. In her own words, only the fact that she cannot sing like Whitney prevents her from world domination!
