Drop in to the family art club, every Saturday between 10.30am – 12.30pm for free creative activities inspired by The Real DMZ exhibition. During the Easter season, create your own board game, explore patters and optical illusions and using block printing, make your own magazines and flyers! As well as seeing the latest art exhibition, The Real DMZ there is always plenty for families to do during a visit. The exhibition trail helps children engage with the artworks on display with prompts to encourage creativity and learning, and the activity area in the Café has colouring in sheets and crayons for you to create your own work of art.
Family Facilities
New Art Exchange has a family-friendly Café with comfy sofas, a children's menu, high chairs and activity area, as well as providing bottle warming and facilities for nappy changing.
New Art Exchange is a free art centre - the largest in the UK dedicated to culturally diverse arts - and is just across the road from the Forest Tram Stop in Hyson Green. All of their family events are free and everyone is welcome.
