You are here > Nottinghamshire Hospitality Stars Awards > How Do I Enter?
1. Choose which categories you wish to enter. Entries will only be accepted from businesses that meet current & relevant Legal and Licensing Compliance. The judges reserve the right to decline an entry if in their opinion this cannot be confirmed.
2. Download the practice entry form(s) below, should you wish to draft your entry or look at the entry forms beforehand. For full eligibility information on each category please refer to the ‘Eligibility’ section in the online entry forms, as these contain the very latest information.
2019 Nottinghamshire Hospitality STARS Award categories:
Visit Nottinghamshire Local Awards
Please note that the winners from the first 13 of the above categories may be automatically put forward for national judging by VisitEngland for the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
3. Read the frequently asked questions page and useful tips around your application page and then click here to create an account on the online submissions portal and start your application - you can save and print off partially completed forms. When you are finished please click submit. Please note, we won’t be accepting email or postal submissions. All entries must be submitted online via the awards submission portal.
4. You can start your application and come back to it as long as you have saved your progress in the online submission portal. Please note however, that you cannot amend the application form after you have submitted it, so make sure you’re happy with your application before pressing submit.
5. In all entries it is possible to include links to websites illustrating your responses or to cloud files containing relevant evidence. In some categories you may also attach a file (e.g. mystery shop report) but our experience is that the best entry forms and ones that judges prefer are usually those with limited number of attachments. Our recommendation is to focus on giving concise answers on the entry form and making sure you answer the questions. If you do this then additional files can simply become a time consuming and unnecessary distraction for both entrants and judges (i.e. quality is more important than quantity).
If you would like more advice or information about the awards and whether you are eligible please email businessdevelopment@visit-nottinghamshire.co.uk or call 0115 962 8311.
