The Sherwood Hideaway is a collection of 22 luxury cedar lodges nestled in the heart of Sherwood Forest.
With a recent £1m investment in 8 new lodges , the Woodland Rustic, Woodland View and Woodland Escape where, comfort, aesthetics and modern convenience prevail.
Beautifully appointed state of the art kitchens, log-effect stoves, flat screen TV, DVD, CD and iPod entertainment facilities, Porcellanosa bathrooms and Molton Brown toiletries make self-catering an indulgent pleasure. All 6 grades of accommodation feature a decked outside area with a hot tub.
Close at hand is Thoresby Hall Hotel, where guests can enjoy professional spa pampering and a sanarium at a discounted rate. And if guests are feeling too relaxed even to enjoy the splendid lodge kitchens to create their own meals, the fine dining restaurant in the hotel is an easy alternative.
Thoresby Park also boasts its own art gallery and Victorian Courtyard with craft and boutique shops, military museum and café – the perfect place for a relaxed browse. Acres of beautiful countryside around The Sherwood Hideaway are available for guests to explore at their own pace by hire bike or on foot.
For a change of scene, a little further afield there’s the Sherwood Forest visitor centre, Rufford Golf Club, Ollerton Watermill and Clumber Park and the many other attractions of Nottinghamshire within leisurely driving distance.
