Notts County Football Club is the world’s oldest professional football club. Founded in 1862, the club has a storied past, including winning the FA Cup in 1894. Affectionately known as “The Magpies” due to their distinctive black and white kit, they have played their home games at Meadow Lane, just south of the city centre, since 1910.
Today, the club competes in EFL League Two and offers exciting football in a welcoming family-friendly environment. Visitors to a game at Notts County can expect a fun-packed day long before the first kick and final whistle. Neighbouring the stadium is the club’s state-of-the-art fanzone, the Nest. With a vibrant atmosphere, delicious street food, an impressive screen showing live football and huge bar area, it’s the perfect place to soak up the matchday buzz. While the Meadow Lane Sports Bar located in the Family Stand is always host to a variety of activities for juniors.
