For the very first time, the Christmas Market at Nottingham Castle will sparkle for three whole days!
Enjoy seasonal shopping, family-friendly activities, and plenty of festive entertainment. With over 90 stalls to discover, exciting performances, and delights for all ages, there truly is something for everyone.
Best of all, it's set against the stunning backdrop of Nottingham Castle, creating a truly special experience.
What to expect:
- More stalls than ever before
The grounds will be buzzing with over 90 stalls from incredible local makers and traders. From handcrafted gifts to tasty festive treats, we've got it all! Perfect for picking up that special Christmas present or enjoying a seasonal bite.
- The Makers Marquee
Step inside to discover over 25 talented traders showcasing their creations – a must-visit for anyone who loves unique, handmade treasures.
- Free family fun
Keep the little ones entertained with a variety of free activities! Experience magical performances, meet colourful festive characters, and let them enjoy free face painting. Don’t miss the sparkling carousel and live festive shows that will keep smiles shining all day.
- Festive food and drink
Warm up by the bandstand with a steaming hot chocolate, spiced mulled wine, or a crisp cider. Treat yourself to delicious street food, hearty bites, and indulgent sweet treats – perfect for sharing (or not!).
- Live entertainment
Soak up the atmosphere with a full line-up of live music and family-friendly performances. The perfect soundtrack to your festive day out.

Capture magical memories at our festive photo spots – the ideal backdrop for your Christmas snaps!
Important Ticket Information
Tickets will go on sale on Monday 3 November – make sure to get yours early!
- Tickets will only be available online via the website for pre-booking.
- Entry fee is £2 for adults and £1 per child under 15 years of age – including Nottingham Castle annual pass holders. No concessions apply.
- No £2 walk-in tickets will be available at the gate.
- On-the-day entry will only be available at Nottingham Castle’s regular admission rate (£15 per adult). These tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to capacity, and entry cannot be guaranteed.
- Ticket holders must arrive within their chosen time slot.
- Please note: If you arrive outside your time slot, entry cannot be guaranteed due to Castle capacity limits.
- Last admission will be 6pm on Friday 28 November, 6pm on Saturday 29 November and 4pm on Sunday 30 December 2025.
