Nottingham's newest fine dining restaurant is offering a New Year's Eve tasting menu, with eight courses, decadent canapés and a Champagne reception. In addition to this, the night will be accompanied by live music, sure to keep you entertained into the New Year.
Enjoy dining in the stunning setting of Cleaver & Wake, where every aspect of the restaurant has been designed to provide you with the most truly special dining experience. The open kitchen is fully accessible and marks the heart of the restaurant, allowing you to watch the theatre behind the dishes you will be enjoying.
The tasting menu has been specially curated by Chef Laurence Henry, using the best quality seasonal produce from across the British Isles.
Following a selection of sumptuous canapés will be dishes such as hand dived scallop with Jerusalem artichoke, BBQ chicken wing and Riesling chicken sauce, and lobster ravioli with a spiced lobster bisque and caviar.
There will be many winter dishes displaying the perfect mixture of hearty and refined, including succulent highland venison cooked over juniper with parsnip, chestnut, chou farci and truffled venison jus.
The meal will close with a pre-dessert of burnt apple parfait and pommes doubles granita, followed by a chocolate 'forest' with hazelnut, truffle and cep, and a variety of luxurious petit fours.
The art-deco inspired bar will be the perfect backdrop to your New Year's Eve, where you can enjoy the extensive selection of wines and champagnes, premium spirits and hand-crafted cocktails.
