About

Detonate 20th Birthday Party
Friday 10 May
6pm - Tickets £22 (inc. booking fee). Age guidance 18+

Twenty years ago, in last millennium, the Nottingham club night Detonate launched. The aim then, was to bring the most exciting music, and
artists to the city. Twenty years on, this is still the case; but on a bigger scale.

This small club event has grown into club nights across the UK and even a festival. Some of the acts brought to the city have become huge international acts. The music promoted has evolved from Jungle to Drum and Bass, from Hip Hop to Grime and Dubstep.

Having thrown parties in loads of the city’s venues including clubs, parks and community halls over the last two decades, Detonate is excited to be
celebrating 20 years with a party in Old Market Square. The event will be a journey through 20 years of Detonate music. Highlighting genres, seminal tracks, and key moments in the evolution of Detonate and UK bass music. The team will be joined by special guests, and foundation DJ’s.

Just announced - DJ ZINC (20 years of Detonate set) plus more special guests
