A look at the life and work of British pioneer painter Evelyn Gibbs (1905 - 1991), focusing on a series of etchings made during her 20s and drawings created after she was evacuated to Nottingham during WWII.
The exhibition will also include a feature of the recent restoration of a mural she painted at St. Martins Church in Bilborough, previously thought to have been destroyed in the 1970s.
This exhibition is co-curated by Pauline Lucas, executor of the Gibbs Estate.
Nottingham Castle is open daily from 10am - 5pm (last entry 4pm)
