Join the celebrations to mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day with 1940s music and decorations. This, the largest community event in the Borough, will bring you an unforgettable fun-filled day with the return of popular headline band the Oasis 2ribute band, and new for 2024, the famous Nottingham Dementia Choir!
Enjoy live music, inflatable fun and fairground rides and classic vehicles, then cool off and enjoy the stalls with a drink from Gladstonian Mobile Bar and Events. Children can learn about army life and enjoy interactive experiences delivered by the HQ Army Centre and Reserve Units.
Don’t miss the Dance Arena showcasing a host of talent from local dance organisations and clubs and the Green Zone with games and recycled crafts promoting environmental protection initiatives.
Make sure you stick around for the firework finale at 10.30pm, you won’t want to miss it!
Parking is available on site for Blue badge holders only. Free event parking is available at Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground, Stapleford NG9 8JL. Residents are also encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport to these events.
