About

Saturday 22 March 2025 | 7.30pm
Albert Hall, Nottingham

Elgar's ever-popular Cello Concerto serves as a prelude to the monumental Hymnus Paradisi by Herbert Howells, one of the pinnacles of the choral repertoire but only rarely performed. There can be few works as dramatic and heartfelt; any performance of this overwhelming work is a special occasion. This is a concert not to be missed.
