Canalhouse

Tickets: £10

Knockembandi Entertainment Ltd in conjunction with NCF are delighted to bring you Comedy Fireworks, a 90 min show of outstanding stand up comedy, from some of the best comedians on the UK comedy circuit right now. The line up includes Scott Bennett, Hayley Ellis, Jason Neale, Jacob Nussey and Kevin Daniel, all for only £10 a ticket. Dont miss out on what will be one of the highlights of this years festival.

Scott Bennett - a multi award winning comedian who is a true master at his craft. He clearly has a big future ahead of him and shows flashes of Peter Kay, Jason Manford and John Bishop.

"Without doubt live comedy's best kept secret" The Evening Standard

"Bennett is a stand-up in fine control of his material, his delivery and his image, a masterclass in adding a frisson of 'in the moment' unpredictability to otherwise tightly written routines" ★★★★ – Chortle

Hayley Ellis - Hayley is a Comedian, Actress and Human being. She has appeared in loads of dead prestigious joke lists. Such as:-

The Independent - "Edinburgh Fringe: 25 funniest jokes of all-time"

The Mirror - "Edinburgh Fringe: Best 21 jokes told at the festival in the last decade"

Wow247 - "50 of the best ever jokes at the Edinburgh Fringe"

Jason Neale - Since his 1st Gig in December 2013, Jason has gone from strength-to-strength as a performer, gigging throughout the UK and adding improv/MCing/Sketch-Writing/Character strings to his bow; all with the aim of sharpening his style of anecdotal, unapologetic, out-for-belly-laughs stand-up.

Jacob Nussey - Jacob unassumingly draws in audiences with his deadpan style, sharp jokes, and ill-fated anecdotes with clever punchlines. Jacob has been named by Chortle as one to watch for 2023. He's seriously funny and well worth seeing in person!

Kevin Daniel - Kevin has established himself as one of the hottest newer acts on the comedy circuit. His commanding stage presence, relatable exquisite storytelling, and jokes a plenty, always leave audiences wanting more. In his short comedy career, Kevin has performed at many comedy clubs including The Stand in Glasgow, Glee Club Birmingham, Just The Tonic Leicester, ROFL in Newcastle Under Lyme / Loughborough, and The Hull Comedy Lounge. Kevin has also supported Nathan Caton and Jack Gleadow on their UK tour shows. In 2023 Kevin performed his first 60 minute work in progress show "FREEDOM", to sold out rooms, at the Leicester and Glasgow Comedy Festivals.

Just the Tonic - "Kevin has a natural ability to fill a room with laughter, he's a genuinely funny guy."

Age Recommendation: 18+
