This workshop will help you to discover the range of records relating to military personnel in Nottinghamshire Archives from the early seventeenth century to the First World War. Find out who was on the militia ballot roll for Norton Cuckney in 1788, explore the military careers of Nottinghamshire soldiers and find out which weapons the inhabitants of Norwell could lay their hands on in the event of a French invasion.
