Featuring NYJO, the NOTTINGHAM YOUTH JAZZ ORCHESTRA centre stage, Nottingham Youth Orchestra's 6th July Summer Concert promises an exhilarating afternoon of dance inspired classical and jazz music. This is the second event in a special series of concerts celebrating NYO's 40th Anniversary and showcases the orchestras'exceptional younger musicians of the Training and Intermediate orchestras as well as the senior Jazz players, all playing at their end of academic year best. Their programme features music driven by the rhythm and energy of dance and blends classical masterpieces with lively jazz influences.
