Children Take Centre Stage at Nottingham Comedy Festival with First-Ever Kids Comedy Weekend

For the very first time, Nottingham Comedy Festival is launching a dedicated programme of Kids Comedy Shows — bringing laughter, magic, games, and even science to the city. Across the weekend families can enjoy 8 hilarious shows designed to entertain children and parents alike. All the shows are disabled friendly and the venue is wheelchair accessible.

The family-friendly line-up kicks off with Britain's Got Talent funny man El Baldiniho, whose riotous mix of comedy and magic has wowed audiences nationwide. He's joined by a fantastic variety of acts, from improvised silliness to slug battles and science experiments:

Saturday 8 November:
  • 12pm: El Baldiniho's Magic Show for Kids -  a hilarious hour of daft magic , props and puns ! At the end of the show you'll get to learn how to do some of the magic and take home a bag of simple tricks! Tickets £8
  • 1:30pm: The Blue Badge Bunch – "The disability Taskmaster" where kids tackle fun challenges like drawing with their feet whilst learning about disability. £8
  • 3pm: Den's Dragon - The Quest for Dragon's Gold - Party games and a treasure hunt for the dragon's stolen gold. £5
  • 4:30pm The Discount Comedy Checkout – An award-winning family improv show where anything can happen. £5

Sunday 9th November:

  • 12pm: Philip Simon's School's Out Comedy Club –  A bonkers, award-winning show where children (and maybe even a few parents) take to the stage to share their favourite jokes. Expect silliness, cheeky laughs and almost certainly a few references to poo! £5
  • 1:30pm Benny Shakes: Sluggageddon – Join the interactive battle to defeat the King Slug and save Benny's prize cabbages! £5
  • 3pm Jeddy Bear & Gary Save the World - Multi-Award nominated show. Expect an action-packed adventure with funny skits, games, world record attempts and the usual pie facing madness £5
  • 4:30pm Fun Science with Jacky – A laugh-out-loud interactive science show. £7

With shows priced between £5–£8, the weekend is the perfect affordable outing for families looking for something different — and a little silly! Shows are on in the Old Cold Store, the function room of the Vat and Fiddle, it is fully wheelchair accessible.
