A rare and exciting opportunity to experience this USA-based Supergroup

An all-star American jazz quartet embark on their first European tour, led by award-winning New York altoist Patrick Cornelius. Individually, they've played with a galaxy of jazz heavyweights, including Pat Metheny, Bill Frisell, Lee Konitz and Carl Allen.

And they're performing here in Nottingham - so, don't miss this chance to experience these top-line Americans performing new material that will be recorded at the end of this tour!

Saxophonist and composer Patrick Cornelius has released 10 albums to date, working with established artists across multiple generations, including Kendrick Scott, Carl Allen, Gerald Clayton, Johnathan Blake and Ben Allison. "A confident, highly accomplished musician with a strong take-no-prisoners sound," says JazzWise magazine

Pianist and Blue Note recording artist James Francies has toured and recorded with some of music's most influential innovators: Pat Metheny, Jeff Tain Watts, Chris Potter, Stefan Harris, and Chance the Rapper. He was named "Rising Star Keyboardist" by the Downbeat Magazine Critics poll, and has released two albums on Blue Note Records. New York times said he's "a pianist with liquid dynamism in his touch".

Prolific bassist and record producer Michael Janisch has collaborated with Lee Konitz, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Walter Smith III, Kenny Wheeler, John Taylor, and founded Whirlwind Recordings, the UK based indie label.

Drummer virtuoso Rudy Royston has had a prolific career as a bandleader and songwriter, leading his quintet at New York's historic Village Vanguard and releasing 5 albums on Douglas' Greenleaf Music label. He's toured with jazz heavyweights Bill Frisell, JD Allen and Dave Douglas.
