Birkin & Co, est. 1854, was a world-leader in lace manufacture and design. Its headquarters on Broadway in the heart of Nottingham's historic Lace Market was the centre of its worldwide operations. Hosting a wealth of famous faces, from kings & queens to fashion icons, it was the driver of significant sporting, industrial and cultural development across the city. Co-owners Becky and Victoria will take you on a 167-year journey of The Birkin Building, from the rich history of Birkin & Co. to its recently completed, award-winning eight year renovation project restoring it to its former glory.
