Ananda

Ananda completed her BA degree in Communication studies with an academic minor in English History, Language and Culture in 2020 in The Netherlands. After having spent five months in Mansfield in 2014 as part of an exchange programme, she decided it was time to head back to the Shire of Nottingham and discover more of its hidden, and not so hidden, treasures. She is now working part time as the marketing executive at Visit Nottinghamshire and delving into all that Nottingham and Nottinghamshire have to offer.

Ananda loves all things language and culture and could spend days discovering new fun facts about everything and nothing – did you know Nottingham is home to the oldest professional association football club in the world, Notts County FC? If you didn’t, you’re welcome! 😉

To Ananda, Nottinghamshire is a place where the hustle and bustle of the city life meets the serenity and beauty of the countryside, complete with stunning pieces of architecture all over the county.
