Visitors to Carlton House Worksop can enjoy an intriguing step back in time within a beautiful Grade II listed building.
Carlton House Worksop is home to an antiques, home interiors, and craft centre, featuring over 60 independent traders. The antiques centre offers an ever-changing, eclectic mix of items including hand-painted porcelain, coins, records, clocks, toys, bronzes, furniture, and much more. With three floors to browse, there is always something new to discover, as more than 60 different traders showcase antiques, interiors, and crafts under one roof.
A wide range of local crafters can also be found at Carlton House, creating unique, one-of-a-kind products unavailable anywhere else, while supporting over 60 local businesses.
For those with a sweet tooth, the licensed on-site tearoom, The Chocolate Orange Tearooms, serves a delicious selection of cakes, as well as breakfast, lunch, and afternoon teas.
Carlton House is also the local stockist for Frenchic chalk and mineral paint, offering a variety of colours to transform any home. Customers can reserve colours by phone or view the range in store, where some traders also sell upcycled furniture painted with Frenchic products.
In addition to antiques and crafts, Carlton House hosts a number of independent businesses offering services such as facials, haircuts and colouring, and even lawn mower repairs. Details of these services can be found on the website.
The events calendar at Carlton House is always worth checking, with past events including antique valuations, murder mystery dining evenings, painting classes, plant swaps, and the much-loved Christmas market.
