The DropWorks Distillery recently opened its doors to the public in July 2023, so it really is the fresh new face on the Rum scene.

Home to all things modern British rum, DropWorks is on a mission to show the world that Rum is fun and that there is a Rum out there for everyone to enjoy - and yes, you can experience all of that right here in Nottinghamshire!

Based at Welbeck, and recently launching their first Drop in May 2023, DropWorks are producing Rum at a quality and scale that has never been seen before on these shores. It is the largest Rum Distillery in Europe.

Looking for something fun to do, that is a little bit different, but very, very fun?

DropWorks offer Distillery Tour packages to fully immerse you into the world of Rum, the most versatile spirit in existence, where you get the opportunity to taste your way through the production process, as well as smaller group, Meet the Distiller sessions to participate in hands-on experience while deep diving into the science - cue career potential change?! Bespoke packages are also available on request.

For those of you who love learning something new, let DropWorks deconstruct everything you thought you knew about Rum and tell you about bespoke ingredients and equipment including cultivation of a world-first wild yeast strain and the first double retort still in England.

All of this for the purpose of being able to produce unique, enjoyable, quality rum time and time again.
