Encounter the exotic and discover a wild family day out at the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife & Falconry Centre, rated number 1 for things to do in Sheffield!

Meet lemurs, meerkats, owls, otters, snakes and other amazing animals during unforgettable Animal Encounters throughout the day. Take your seat for spectacular shows, featuring free-flying birds of prey, parrots and charismatic mammals.

Explore the indoor rainforest; home to butterflies, birds, bats, crocodiles and creepy-crawlies from around the world and meet and feed the friendly residents of the Farm Barn.

Get closer than ever before to some of the most popular animals in the award-winning Wilderness Walk-through, and get a selfie with a dinosaur!

Pre-booked school and group visits are welcome, and VIP Experience Days and Animal Adoptions are available to purchase.

The Realm of Camelot adventure playground, outdoor Wet Play Area and indoor Activity and Craft Centre will entertain children in all weathers, and popular themed events take place at the centre during School Holidays.

Facilities include a Picnic Room, Jungle Gift Shop, pre-bookable Party Room, and a modern Butterfly Café, serving freshly prepared hot and cold food, and handmade cakes. New for 2017 is Lottie’s Coffee Lounge, open from 9am daily, wildlife centre admission not required to enter.

The Tropical Butterfly House is open from 10am daily, and is located just 5 minutes from M1, junction 31, with free car parking. Visit the website above to plan your visit. Fast Track tickets can be bought on the website.

Lottie's Coffee Lounge

Lottie's Coffee Lounge is now open next to the Jungle Gift Shop at the Tropical Butterfly House, open from 9am daily, and wildlife centre admission is not required to enter.

Serving hot & cold drinks, milkshakes, snacks including sandwiches, toasties, and paninis, pasta and salad boxes, and desserts including cake, and ice cream.

Customers are welcome to bring their dogs to the outdoor patio area. Wheelchair accessible facilities, and special dietary requirements catered for. Please contact Lottie’s in advance to book for groups of 10 or more at
