Looking for a night of top-quality jazz music? Look no further than The Nottingham Jazz Orchestra, Nottingham's longest-running jazz big band. Originally formed in the 1970s, this 17-piece BIG BAND features some of the finest jazz musicians in the area, playing the most demanding big band charts ever written.

The NJO plays a regular live concert every month at the Royal British Legion in Beeston, Nottingham. This is a great opportunity to hear some of the biggest jazz artists as special guests most months, with the best big band music around, performed by a group of talented musicians of all ages, who are passionate about their craft.

NJO are passionate about encouraging grass-roots musicians into the genre of big band jazz, and have 5 members who are under 25 years of age, through to experienced musicians in their early 70’s - passing down the knowledge!

Whether you're a die-hard jazz fan or just looking for a fun night out, NJO is sure to impress. With their tight arrangements, impressive solos, and infectious energy, this is a band that knows how to put on a show.
