Southbank City
Thursday 31 October 2019 | 6.30pm - 10.30pm
£35
Cricket fans of Nottingham, don't miss out on an evening with Sir Alastair Cook and Graham Gooch OBE: The Mentor & the Student.
Graham Gooch was one of England's most prolific runs scorers of all time with 67,057 runs across all formats of the first class game. Despite being banned for over 3 years due to taking part in the 'rebel tour' to ostracised South Africa, he is England's 2nd highest Test runs scorer of all time.
Who is the highest Test runs scorer of all time? Why Sir Alastair Cook of course! 'Chef' is England's most capped player of all time and captained England in a record 59 Tests and 69 ODIs and we're delighted to be welcoming him to Southbank City.
Goochie was Cookies 'mentor' throughout his youth, county and international career so what better batting partnership is there to present on stage right here in Nottingham!
The evening with once again be compered and supported by the hilarious Dr Geoff 'Dusty' Miller. The former England international and selector has more stories to tell and will no doubt tear the house down again!
