This annual spectacular Christmas event will once again be held on Beeston Square this year.
o 12:00pm – 7:00pm – Christmas Market & Festive Fairground
o 1:00pm – 5:00pm – Santa’s Grotto at Beeston Library
o 1:00pm – 2:00pm pre-booked accessible session; 2:00 – 5:00pm general admission
o 4:30pm – 7:00pm – Live Entertainment
o 5:30pm – Lights Switch On
o 6:30pm – Fireworks!
The Christmas market will be running from 12 noon with an array of tasty treats and festive items to purchase - fill your boots with a range of hot food, sweet treats.
Santa will also be visiting Beeston Library; His magical grotto will be in town from 1pm to 5pm where he’ll be collecting Christmas wishes from all of kids. An accessible sensory session for the Grotto is also available for booking this year from 2 – 5pm.
The main event will start at 4:30pm at Beeston Square where you will be entertained by an array of exciting festive street theatre and enjoy festive fairground rides.
The Christmas light switch on ceremony will take place at 5:30pm on Beeston Square and make sure you don’t miss the spectacular firework display at 6:30pm.
Parking in the town centre is limited, so please use public transport where possible. The Beeston Tram and Bus interchange will bring you right into the heart of Beeston and is just a short walk from the Square.
The event is organised by the Broxtowe Borough Council.
