Location: Broadgate Park, Beeston
Beeston town centre will burst into life with colour, music, food, and family fun at this year’s vibrant celebration event.
Free to attend, the festivities begin with a Carnival Parade at 12pm, starting from Foster Avenue and weaving through Beeston Square and High Road before finishing at Broadgate Park. There, visitors can enjoy an afternoon of entertainment including:
Live stage performances
Fairground rides and inflatables (small charges may apply)
Free face painting, puppet shows, circus skills, and donkey petting
Local traders, arts & crafts, and community stalls
Competitions for best homegrown produce, flowers, homemade cakes, and jams
Food lovers can also visit the Beeston Food Fair in Beeston Square from 8am – 2pm, offering a tasty mix of street food, local treats, sweets, and ice cream.
Residents are encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport. Town centre car parks are available for drivers.
Parade road closures (11:45am – 12:45pm) will affect:
Station Road (B6006) – from Commercial Avenue to Middle Street
Commercial Avenue – up to Foster Avenue
Foster Avenue – to Chilwell High Road
Chilwell High Road – between Styring Street and Foster Avenue
Acacia Walk – from Beeston High Road to Tesco Extra Car Park
Stoney Street – from Beeston High Road
