Christmas Markets in Nottingham
The festive season kicks off in the city as Nottingham Winter Wonderland will be running at Old Market Square from 12 November – 31 December 2026. The square transforms into a winter wonderland complete with traditional chalet-style market stalls, festive attractions, pop-up bars, and a dazzling 60ft grand fir Christmas tree adorned with 4,000 red and white lights. Visitors can browse a wide variety of stalls offering artisan cheeses, handmade jewellery, home accessories, retro fashion, and continental treats. There’s something for every taste, whether you’re hunting for gifts or simply soaking in the festive atmosphere.
Take your Christmas shopping to one of Nottingham's hidden gems, the Bromley House Library. On Saturday 28 November and Saturday 5 & 12 December 2026 from 4pm - 6pm you can browse the library's gift shop for jigsaws, stationery, puzzles, bookmarks and booklights, Christmas cards, paperweights and more – including hand crafted knits, decorations and toys from the talented Bromley House Knitters. Free entry. Access to gift shop only.
Christmas Markets Across Nottinghamshire
Experience Christmas at Vantom Village with their festive market running from 6 - 8 November 2026. With 75+ independent vendors, live cookery shows, fantastic seasonal food and drink, music and entertainment, the festivities know no bounds! Find that unique handmade gift, winter favourites and browse the stalls of local makers. Entry to the festive market is free.
Rufford Abbey Country Park celebrates the arrival of Santa with a weekend full of festivities on 21 & 22 November 2026. Watch the festive parade as Santa makes his way through Lime Tree Avenue and join in on the fun with Vintage Fairground Rides, a Christmas Elf Showcase, Sing Along Show, festive eats and treats and of course the Mini Courtyard Christmas Market full of local flair, handcrafted items, bespoke creations, and unique gifts! Entry is free, parking charges apply.
You’re invited to a magical festive family day out at the Renaissance at Kelham Hall on 29 November 2026. Embrace the seasonal atmosphere as you wander the hall and grounds that have been transformed into a Christmas wonderland. Expect an indoor market, offering a lovely selection of festive gifts and treats, Santa’s grotto to meet the big man and share your Christmas wishes, festive food and drinks, live music and much more! Entry is £8 for general admission, £3 for Children Under 16, Santa's Grotto: £17.50
Ruddington comes alive on 5 December 2026 with the Christmas Craft Fayre at the Framework Knitters Museum. Children can meet Santa in his cosy Victorian grotto for £8 per child, while parents explore a festive craft market in the Chapel Gallery, showcasing handmade seasonal gifts. The Parker’s Yard café remains open, serving hot drinks, seasonal treats, and hearty meals throughout the day.
Christmas at Clipstone takes place on 5 December 2026 in the iconic power house beneath the world’s tallest headstocks. Surrounded by twinkling lights and festive music, visitors can enjoy a delicious selection of hot food and drink, browse unusual gifts, and even meet Santa for just £2 (including a gift). Entry is £3 for adults, with under 10s free, and parking available for £1.
If you're looking for handmade wonders and creative delights, East Markham's Craft & Produce Fair will have everything you're after and more. On 5 December 2026 the charming Village Hall will be host to talented local artisans, crafters and producers. From unique handmade jewellery, home décor, knitted clothing and beautiful candles to an enticing selection of locally sourced fruits and vegetables, homemade jams, cheese, freshly baked goods and other delicious treats – whatever takes your fancy. Entry to the market is free.
A magical festive day awaits at Stubton Hall’s Christmas Market on 6 December 2026. Set withing the stunning surroundings of the Hall, visitors can peruse the market stalls and discover a beautiful selection of artisan gifts, local makers, festive food and seasonal entertainment. Entry is £6 for general admission, with under 2s free.
