The Renaissance at Kelham Hall invites guests to make Christmas one to remember with a magical festive family day out.

Families can come together and enjoy the seasonal atmosphere as the Hall and grounds are transformed for Christmas. With plenty to see, do and enjoy, it offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, spend quality time together and create special memories that will last long after the holidays.

From the moment visitors arrive, they will find festive surprises around every corner, with entertainment for all ages. Santa will also be making a very special appearance. Guests can step inside Santa's magical Grotto, meet him in person, greet his reindeer and enjoy a truly memorable Christmas experience. Santa's Grotto tickets are sold separately, with dedicated sessions available for children with additional needs and disabilities, providing a quieter and more relaxed visit.

What's On:

Santa's Grotto: Children can meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes and take home a special early gift.

Reindeer Meet and Greet: Visitors can get up close with Santa's reindeer, pose for photos and enjoy these enchanting Christmas favourites.

Live Festive Music: Newark and Sherwood Concert Band and the Swinging Santas will perform seasonal music throughout the day.

LED Christmas Angel: A walk‑around LED angel will add sparkle and wonder to the celebrations.

Anna and Christmas Belle Princess Meet and Greet: Guests can meet Anna and Belle, take magical photos and enjoy a royal festive moment.

Street Food Delights: A selection of street food stalls will offer delicious festive treats.

Festive Drinks: A variety of seasonal drinks, both alcoholic and soft, will be available.

Marshmallow Toasting: Families can gather to toast marshmallows for a warm, sweet treat.

Axe Throwing: A fun festive activity for guests to test their skills.

Face Painting: Children can enjoy festive face painting throughout the day.

Christmas Market: An indoor market will offer a lovely selection of festive gifts and treats.

Outdoor Christmas Trail: Visitors can explore magical moments including Letters to Santa, the Enchanted Tree, Narnia's Tunnel and the Gingerbread House.

Fairground Rides: Available for an additional charge.

Gingerbread Hunt: Families can follow clues to help find the gingerbread men stolen by the Ice Queen.

Tickets:

General Admission – eight pounds per person
Children under sixteen – three pounds per child
Santa's Grotto – seventeen pounds fifty per child (admission ticket also required)
Children visiting Santa will receive a specially wrapped gift.

Time slots will be provided before the event, and guests are asked to arrive at least five minutes before their allocated time.

Late arrivals will be accommodated where possible, but rescheduling cannot be guaranteed and tickets are non‑refundable.

Only children visiting Santa require a grotto ticket. Parents and guardians do not need one unless they would like a gift themselves.

Food, drinks and face painting are not included in the admission ticket and will require payment on the day.

Free on‑site parking is available.
